Mike Watts is currently the Director of Operations Applications at Duquesne Light Company (DLC) which is a utility that provides safe and reliable electric service to communities in southwestern Pennsylvania. Mike has been with DLC for 8 years and is currently responsible for supporting and maintaining IT/OT applications such as SCADA, Outage Management, Metering, Work and Asset Management and GIS applications. He also is responsible for all technology related to the organizations Grid Modernization efforts with a goal to achieve full situational awareness to the edge of the grid.

Prior to DLC, Mike worked in multiple industries implementing, supporting, and improving enterprise systems. He is a certified Scrum Master and received certification of completion in the inaugural Pittsburgh Technology CIO Leadership Development Program. Mike holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Kent State University.
